2. Four passengers and the pilot were killed in a Las Vegas helicopter crash on Dec. 7, 2011. The helicopter, operated by Sundance Helicopters, was taking the passengers on a luxury tour that was scheduled to fly over downtown Las Vegas, the Las Vegas strip and the Hoover Dam.
The helicopter, reportedly, crashed into the River Mountains surrounding Lake Mead at about 5 p.m. The cause of the accident is not known and the identities of the deceased have not been released.
