Honesty, hard work, responsibility, and resilience define Javier Arguello’s approach to the practice of law. Those values were shaped early in life. At the age of three, Javier immigrated to the United States from Ecuador, watching his mother work tirelessly to build a better future for their family.
Javier’s path to the legal profession was deeply personal. After seeing his mother struggle following a work-related injury, he became determined to pursue a career in law to ensure that injured workers would not be left without advocacy or accountability. That experience continues to drive his work today.
Known for his compassion, transparency, and hands-on approach, Javier is a trusted advocate for injured workers throughout Nevada. He takes pride in standing beside his clients at every stage of the process and ensuring their voices are heard.
Javier earned his Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University, where his interest in workers’ compensation law began to take shape. During his early career, he gained broad experience representing a wide range of industries, including construction, municipalities, retail, hospitality, transportation, and healthcare.
Before transitioning to plaintiff-side representation, Javier worked on behalf of insurers and employers. This background provided him with valuable insight into how insurance companies evaluate, manage, and defend claims. That knowledge now serves as a powerful advantage for the injured workers he represents.
In 2006, Javier joined the Firm, where he now leads the firm’s workers’ compensation department. His practice is dedicated exclusively to representing injured workers and holding insurance providers accountable.
Javier is known for his direct involvement in every case he handles. He manages all aspects of his clients’ claims, maintains open and consistent communication, and ensures his clients understand each step of the process.
